All prices are per week, except Christmas and Easter holidays which can be negotiated.

Bookings are normally from Saturday to Saturday but alternative start dates may be possible in off-peak periods.

Two-week consecutive bookings qualify for £100 discount.

Our rates include bed-linen, towels for the bathroom and tea towels, but not beach towels.  

Electricity is used to heat water and also for most of the radiators, which are new and easy to regulate.  The cottage has its own electricity meter and during colder seasons guests may be charged at the normal rate of 0.1Euro per kWh, to be settled at the end of the letting period.   (In winter we find that once it's warmed up the cottage remains very cosy, due to the stone walls being 18" thick.) 

Logs are also provided for the open fire and woodburning stove - again at cost.

There is a "no smoking" policy in the cottage and, we're sorry, but pets are not allowed.

Airlines:  Ryan Air fly to La Rochelle from Stanstead. 
Air France, British Airways and BMI Baby fly into Bordeaux from various regional airports in the UK.
Easyjet flies to La Rochelle from Bristol, and to Bordeaux from Luton.  FlyBe fly to La Rochelle from Birmingham and Southampton, and to Bordeaux from Bristol, Southampton and Norwich.

Ferries: Brittany Ferries sail to St Malo (nearest port, just over 4 hours away by car) or Caen and Cherbourg, a bit further away. 

Car Hire:  We've had good reports from people who have used Budget rentals.
